Prof. Dr. Ali Shams El Din, the President of Benha University received a delegation from China under the presidency of Dr. Shoujo Wang, the President of Xi'an University to discuss the cooperation ways between the University and Xi'an University. The delegation was received by Prof. Dr. Gamal Ismail, the University Vice-president for Community Service and Environment Development Affairs and Prof. Dr. Soliman Mustafa, the University Vice-president for Education and Students' Affairs .

Prof. Dr. Ali Shams El Din, the President of Benha University said in the frame of the University policy for openness to the world and with cooperation of the Francophone Cultural Activities Center “CAF” which affiliated with the Cultural Outreach Sector in Bibliotheca Alexandrina; several activities that vary from lectures, discussions, conferences, workshops and various cultural and scientific meetings have been organized.

Prof. Dr. Hesham Abu El Enin, the Vice-president of Benha University for Postgraduate Studies and Researches’ Affairs said in the frame of training on international databases, Elsevier organizes training program for the University faculty members and postgraduates under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Ali Shams El Din, President of the University.
