Prof. Osama Ali Sayed Nada, Dean of the Faculty, extends his sincere greetings, thanks, and appreciation to the administrative team, the Safety and Security Team, and Mr. Hassan Fathy, under the supervision of Prof. Niveen Farouk, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development, in recognition of their dedicated efforts and continuous follow-up in addressing the emergency weather conditions.

This included the effective activation of the Safety and Security and Crisis Management Plan. Their prompt response in handling water accumulations, addressing electrical issues, and securing building rooftops played a significant role in preserving the safety of the Faculty’s facilities, in addition to ongoing coordination with security personnel, workers, and plumbing and electrical technicians.

His Excellency also extends his sincere thanks and appreciation to the esteemed faculty members for their commitment to delivering lectures according to the scheduled timetables through the distance learning system, which contributed to maintaining the continuity and efficiency of the educational process. This was carried out under the supervision and follow-up of Prof. Mona Nasr, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs.

These sincere efforts are highly valued and appreciated and remain a source of pride for the Faculty of Applied Arts.

The Permanent Exhibition of the Industrial Design Department

Under the patronage of Prof. Osama Nada, Dean of the Faculty,
and under the supervision of Prof. Mahmoud El-Gazzar, Head of the Industrial Design Department and Course Instructor, along with Eng. Mahmoud El-Medabghi,

and within the framework of directing student projects to serve the educational environment and student activity spaces across university facilities,

a display unit for showcasing the products of Industrial Design students has been designed and implemented. This comes as part of the outcomes of the “Prototype Design” course for third-year students in the Industrial Design Department.

The permanent exhibition of the Industrial Design Department’s products enhances students’ innovative capabilities, encourages continuous work, and strengthens their sense of belonging.

Prof. Mahmoud El-Gazzar, Head of the Department, stated that the permanent exhibition of students’ work will serve as a strong motivation for students to produce high-quality projects to be showcased before their peers. It will also function as an educational museum for department students, allowing them to view and learn from the work of previous cohorts across various courses.

Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Osama Nada, Dean of the Faculty of Applied Arts at Benha University, and Prof. Dr. Nevin Farouk, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development, and in line with the Faculty’s commitment to fostering a positive work environment and promoting social cohesion among its members, the Faculty of Applied Arts organized a ceremony to honor exemplary mothers, coinciding with the celebration of Mother’s Day.

During the event, three exemplary mothers were recognized from among the distinguished administrative staff and auxiliary service members. This recognition serves as a message of appreciation and gratitude to every mother who has not only fulfilled her family responsibilities but has also managed her professional duties with dedication.

The celebration took place in an atmosphere of warmth and camaraderie. The honored mothers expressed their happiness and gratitude for this recognition, affirming that such thoughtful gestures reinforce the values of dedication, loyalty, and respect for mothers.
