Benha University council held its meeting under presidency of Dr\Gamal El Saeed, Benha University President, Dr\Alaa Abd El Halim, El Qalyoubia's Governor, Prof.Dr\ Hussein El Maghraby, the University Vice-president for Education and Students' Affairs and faculties' deans. In his word, El Saeed thanked the governor for his vital role and support for Benha University activities' which helps the university to serve its community.

 Benha University holds a project management workshop under auspices of Dr\Gamal El Saeed, Benha University President. The workshop is held by International Relations office by cooperation with DAAD. Benha University organized the 5th Scientific Excellence day under auspices of ministry of High Education, Dr\Gamal El Saeed, Benha University President and Prof.Dr\Hussein El Maghraby, the University Vice-president for Education and Students' Affairs. The Day was held on Monday, 29/7/2019 at Faculty of Commerce, the Great Hall. El Saeed confirmed on the importance of that day to encourage and motivate the specialized researchers at scientific researches and international publications. On the other hand, the University president honored the best library on the level of the University Faculties', the best project and the best thesis.                                                   

Benha University participated at Higher Education Exhibition which opened by Dr\Khalid Abd El Ghafar, minister of Higher Education. The exhibition lasts till 12 of July 2019. The Exhibition was attended by Dr\Gamal El Saeed , the University president , Prof.Dr\Hussein El Maghraby, the University Vice-president for Education and Students' Affairs and Dr\Nasser El Gezawy , the general supervisor on scientific and cultural relations .The minister inspected Benha University pavilion which includes the newest educational programs with accredited hours system which aim to cope with labor market requirements.                                                                                             

Prof.Dr.Gamal El Saeed, the President of Benha University issued several decisions of appointments as following; Prof.Dr.Gamal El Sayed Saleh was appointed as a head for general Surgery department. Dr\ Rania Hamdy Mohamed was appointed as a head for Community Service department. Dr\ Nermn Adly Mahmoud was appointed as a head for Forensic Medicine and Clinical Toxicology department. Dr\ Eman Mustafa Kamel was appointed as a head for Department of Dermatology and Venereology department. Dr\ Reem refaat Abd El Galil was appointed as a head for Microbiology and Immunology department. Dr\ Taghreed Abd El Samee was appointed as a head for Pathology department .Dr\ Khalid Emad El Rabatt was appointed as a head for Cardiology department. Dr\ Waleed Ahmed Mahmoud was appointed as a head for Neurosurgery. Dr \ Mohamed Mahmoud Youssef was appointed as a head for Histology department. Dr \ Gamal Abd El Ghaffar Magdy was appointed as a head for Rheumatism and Rehabilitation department

Benha University has achieved a great progress for the first time in its history to be at Shanghai Global Ranking of Scientific Subjects 2019. Benha University has got 151-200at Veterinary medicine and become among the best 500 universities around the world such as Oregon and Harvard University. On the other hand, Benha University has got the second place in Egypt at the same specialty with Cairo and Kafr El Sheikh University. Dr\ Gamal El Saeed, Benha University president congratulated Dr\ Mohammed Ghanim, The Faculty of Veterinary Medicine dean for that achievement.                                                                                                             

Prof.Dr.Gamal El Saeed, the President of Benha University issued several decisions of appointments as following; Prof.Dr.Maher Hassab El Naby Khalil was appointed as an advisor for the University President and The General Supervisor on Scientific Research Unit at the University. Dr \ Abeer Fatah Allah Anis was appointed as the Acting dean at Faculty of Arts. Prof.Dr.Tareq El Sheshtawy was appointed as the Faculty deputy for post graduate studies at Faculty of Computers and Artificial Intelligence and the executive manager for Information .Prof.Dr\ Alaa Amin as the executive manager for Projects Management Unit.Dr\ Haidy Youssef was appointed as the Supervisor of the print shop.Mr.Refaat Dawood was appointed as the General Manager of Administrative Affairs and Mr\ Ahmed Ragab Ahmed was appointed as the General Manager for Scientific and cultural relations.                                              

        Prof.Dr.Gamal El Saeed, the President of Benha University issued several decisions of appointments as following; Dr \ Hossam Fouad Attya was appointed as the Faculty of Medicine deputy for Education and Students Affairs. Dr \ Amany Abd El Rahman Abbas was appointed as the Faculty of Veterinary medicine deputy for Post graduate studies and research. Dr \ Mohamed Khalid Mohamed was appointed as the Faculty of Veterinary medicine deputy for Community service and Environment development affairs. Eng\ Manal Farouk Tawfiq was appointed as the general manager for engineering affairs. Eng \ Nermeen Yehia Abd El Rahman was appointed as the general manager for administrative affairs. 

Benha University is awarded the ISO certificate for 2015 by the Swiss company SGS as the first Egyptian University that gets it according to what has been said by prof.Dr. EL-Sayed EL-Kady, the university president 

The strategic planning unit has agreed upon determining next July as the time to assess the strategic plan of Benha University and its faculties and the assessment process will last for four days. This statement concurs with the meeting of the strategic planning units in the university’s faculties under the presidency of prof.Dr. Gamal Abd EL-Aziz, the head of the strategic planning unit in Benha University.
