Prof.Dr. Gamal Sosa, Benha University President witnessed the final match of Football Tournament at Ramadan in the presence of Prof.Dr. Khalid Essawy, the general coordinator of the student activities, Dr. Mosbeh EL-khehily, the Director General of Youth Welfare, Prof.Dr. Hany Zakaria, the supervisor of the University 's playgrounds, Mr. Ibrahim Abd EL-Allah, the head of sports activities department, many faculties ' members and a number of employees at Benha University. For his part, Dr.Gamal Sosa, Benah University President said that the activities of the Ramadan Football Tournament at Benha University are considered a qualifying stage before representing the winners of the University in the "Ramadan Tournament for Universities and Institutes", which is held under the auspices of Dr. Khalid Abdel Ghaffar, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research and Dr. Ashraf Sobhy, Minister of Youth and Sports, in the period from 22 to 25 April, with the participation of teams representing 32 universities and institutes at the level of the Republic. On the other hand, Dr.Gamal Sosa pointed out that the University 's interest in sports comes from its positive effects on the mental and psychological health of students .In addition to enhancing the energies of youth and creating a competitive spirit among sports teams. He also stressed that students ' practice of sports increases their self-confidence and desire to achieve achievements and it develops their desire to work in teams and that consolidates the spirit.
BU organizes Symposium about War of Rumors and Terrorism
Prof.Dr. Gamal Sosa, Benah University President received Major General Staff of War Nagy Shahoud, Counselor at Nasser Higher Military Academy at the symposium that organized by the General Administration of Youth Welfare on "The War of Rumors and Terrorism". The Symposium was held in the presence of Prof.Dr.Nasser El Gizawy, Benha University Vice-president for Post Graduate Studies and Scientific Research, Dr. Tamer Samir, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, Prof.Dr. Mahmoud Iraqy, the general supervisor of the environment service and community development, Prof.Dr. Khalid Essawy, the general coordinator of the student activities and Dr. Mosbeh EL-khehily, the Director General of Youth Welfare. During the meeting, Dr. Gamal Sosa stressed the University 's keenness to hold dialogues with its students and support the various activities for them, explaining that the University is working to intensify symposium, programs and awareness activities aimed at developing students ' awareness to confront rumors, extremist ideas and the challenges facing the country.
El Qalyubia Governor and BU President inaugurate the Wheat Harvest Season at Faculty of Agriculture
Major Genera l Abdel Hamid El-Hagan, Governor of Qalyubia, and Dr. Gamal Sosa, President of Benha University inaugurated the Wheat Harvest Season at Faculty of Agriculture in the presence of Dr. Mahmoud Maghraby Iraqi, the Supervisor of the Community Service and Environmental Development Sector, Dr. Mahmoud Al-Zabalawy, Acting Dean of the Faculty, Mrs. Rania Moataz, Assistant Secretary of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, and the Faculty of agriculture deputies . The governor of Qalyubia and the University president listened to a detailed explanation from the supervisor of the community service and environmental development sector and the Faculty dean about the wheat harvest season in the Faculty farms, where the cultivated area with wheat reached about 15 acres. For his part, the Governor of Qalyubia praised the fruitful cooperation with Benha University in various fields and sectors that aim to serve the people of the governorate. He also stressed the governorate's interest in the wheat harvest season, as it is an exceptional year where the governorate intensified its efforts in coordination with the ministries of Agriculture and supply, to ensure the success of this season. On the other hand , Dr.Gamal Sosa added that that the visit comes as an affirmation of the societal role that played by Benha University to participate in cultivating strategic crops, including wheat, in addition to the use of scientific research to devise new types of agricultural crops to increase production. He also added that the productivity of the feddan this year is greater than the previous years and reaches more than 20 ardebs.

Major Genera l Abdel Hamid El-Hagan, Governor of Qalyubia, and Dr. Gamal Sosa, President of Benha University inaugurated the Sustainable Development and Climate Change Unit at the headquarters of Agriculture Faculty in Moshtohor, in the presence of Dr. Mahmoud Maghraby Iraqi, the Supervisor of the Community Service and Environmental Development Sector, Dr. Mahmoud Al-Zabalawy, Acting Dean of the Faculty, Mrs. Rania Moataz, Assistant Secretary of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, and the Faculty of agriculture deputies . The governor of Qalyubia and the University president listened to a detailed explanation from the supervisor of the community service and environmental development sector and the Faculty dean about the services provided by the sustainable development unit in the Faculty and its most important capabilities. Benha University President said that an academic working group has been formed to implement the University's goals, to organize awareness campaigns on the issue of climate change and its effects, and how to deal with these effects at the individual and societal level, through public lectures.
BU President witnesses Accreditation Ceremony of Education Faculty from the National Authority for Quality Assurance of Education
Prof. Gamal Sosa, President of Benha University, witnessed the accreditation celebration of the National Authority for Quality Assurance and Accreditation of Education for Faculty of Education that headed by Dr. Johansen Eid, under the title “Quality Assurance and Digitization: The Way to Developing and Managing Education”, in the presence of Dr. Mohamed Latif, Secretary General of the Supreme Council of Universities.
For his part, Dr.Gamal Sosa announces that the National Authority for Quality Assurance and Accreditation of Education has accredited three educational programs for Faculty of Education, Benha University and he congratulated Dr. Eman Abd El Haq , the Faculty of Education dean on that occasion. On the other hand , Dr. Eman Abd El Haq , the Faculty of Education dean said that the accredited programs are as following ; Arabic and Islamic Teacher Preparation Program , History Teacher Preparation Program and Philosophy and Sociology Teacher Preparation Program. For her part, Dr. Eman Abd El Haq , the Faculty dean thanked the University President, the Vice President for Education and Students Affairs and the Quality Assurance Center at the University for their role in providing the necessary needs for the Faculty of Education to approve the three educational programs from The National Authority for Quality Assurance and Accreditation of Education .
