Benha University organizes a medical veterinary convoy to Kafr- Abed Village in Toukh in accordance with “We got your back” initiative launched by Benha University to take care of the Egyptian family. The medical convoy is organized under the auspices of prof.Dr. Nasser EL-Gizaway, the acting president of Benha University, Prof.Dr. EL-Sayed Fouda, the vice president of community service and environment development, prof.Dr. Amani Abbas, the dean of the faculty of veterinary medicine. It is conducted under the supervision of prof.Dr. Ashraf Awaad Abdel Twaab, the faculty vice dean of community service and environment development, Ms. Rania Motaaz, the University’s assistant secretary-general of community service and environment development and prof.Dr. Amal EL-Esseily, the head of veterinary medicine directorate in Qulubia.

The female students/ Shams Selim Ahmed (the faculty of arts), the female student/ Amira Ragab Ali (the faculty of medicine), the female student/ Salma Abdel Rahman Ahmed (the faculty of science), student/ Ahmed Selim Ahmed (GCC students in Qena)- the royal team members. This team is honored for his accomplishments in addition to its representation of the university in several competitions held in the ministry of youth and sport. Prof.Dr. EL-Sayed Fouda, the vice president of community service and environment development participates in the meetings of greater Cairo Universities. The meeting held in Helwan University and it includes Benha University, Ain Shams University, Helwan University, Cairo University and Al-Azhur University. This is done in the presence of prof.Dr. Walid EL-Serogy, Helwan University vice president of community service and environment development, prof.Dr. Ghada Farouk Hasan, Ain Shams vice president of community service and environment development and the university’s acting president, prof.Dr. Abdel Sadik, Cairo University vice president of community service and environment development and prof.Dr. Mahmoud Sadik, Al-Azhur University vice president of post-graduate studies and scientific research and the supervisor of community service and environment development sector. Prof.Dr. EL-Sayed Fouda stresses that the meeting discusses the ways of cooperation between these educational institutions in greater Cairo , participate in the future projects that will be conducted in accordance with the national strategy of higher education and scientific research 2030 and put into action several  mechanisms of mutual training among greater Cairo Universities.

In accordance with the national strategy of anti-corruption 2023-2023, the administrative control authority hold, in the premise of National Anti-Corruption Academy, a 3-day training course of anti-corruption and governance from 13-8-2023 to 15-8-2023. Prof.Dr. Nasser EL-Gizaway, the acting Benha University president, stresses that corruption is the biggest obstacle of progress and the main block to development across the world, so it is advisable to raise the awareness against because it is the plague that should get rid of and the disease that should avoid its negative impacts. Prof.Dr. Gamal Sosa, BU president announces that there are seven scientific journals in Benha University are highly-ranked as per the Universities supreme council report issued in July, 2023.

Prof.Dr. Nasser EL-Gizaway, the vice president of post-graduate studies and scientific research announces that these highly-ranked scientific journals are the following; the journal of the faculty of arts, the journal of the faculty of education, the journal of physical education and sport sciences, the journal of the legal and economic thought, the journal of nursing sciences, the journal of veterinary sciences, the journal of medical sciences, the annual journal of agricultural sciences,  the scientific journal of pedagogical and specific studies and researches, the engineering scientific journal, the accounting studies and researches journal, the journal of applied sciences, the journal of humanities and the journal of commercial studies and researches. Prof.Dr. Gamal Sosa, BU president announces that the University obtains a high rank as it ranges between the ranks 201-250 among 984 international universities. The university categorizes under the third class among 30 governmental and private universities in the British Times ranking of the Universities (2023) for the fourth year in a row.  Prof.Dr. Gamal Sosa, BU president announces that there are Ministerial decrees to renew appointment of four general managers in Benha University. These decrees include the renewal of Ms. Rania Motaaz as the assistant secretary-general of community service and environment development, Prof.Dr. Awaad Allah Soliman as the head of the University hostels and nutrition, Mr. Ahmed Ragab as the head of the scientific and cultural relations and renew the appointment for Mr. Mohamed Mahmoud as the head of the University libraries.

The sector of community service and environment development organizes, under the auspices of Prof.Dr. Gamal Sosa, BU president and Prof.Dr. EL-Sayed Fouda, the vice president of community service and environment development, a ceremony to celebrate the international day of blood donation that corresponds to 14-6-2023.

 Prof.Dr. Gamal Sosa, BU president issues a number of decrees to appoint new departments’ heads in the University’s faculties. Prof.Dr. Anwar Abdel Fattah Abdel Malak, the professor of Anatomy department is appointed as the department head in the faculty of veterinary medicine and Prof.Dr. Ayman Ali Ahmed, the professor of curricula and the methodology is appointed as the department head in the faculty of physical education. The decrees also include the secondment of Eng. Ahemd Mohy Mohamed to be the general manager of the engineering affairs in the faculty of engineering/ Shubra.

Prof.Dr. Gamal Sosa, BU president and Prof.Dr. Nasser EL-Gizaway, the vice president of post-graduate studies and research participate in the national dialogue third-week sessions. The University participates in the economic sessions, as the University president talks in the committee of agriculture and the food security in which the state’s role in providing production materials and setting prices in addition to boosting agriculture and insurance is discussed publically.
