The sector of community service and environment development organizes, under the auspices of Prof.Dr. Gamal Sosa, BU president and Prof.Dr. EL-Sayed Fouda, the vice president of community service and environment development, a ceremony to celebrate the international day of blood donation that corresponds to 14-6-2023.

 Prof.Dr. Gamal Sosa, BU president issues a number of decrees to appoint new departments’ heads in the University’s faculties. Prof.Dr. Anwar Abdel Fattah Abdel Malak, the professor of Anatomy department is appointed as the department head in the faculty of veterinary medicine and Prof.Dr. Ayman Ali Ahmed, the professor of curricula and the methodology is appointed as the department head in the faculty of physical education. The decrees also include the secondment of Eng. Ahemd Mohy Mohamed to be the general manager of the engineering affairs in the faculty of engineering/ Shubra.

Prof.Dr. Gamal Sosa, BU president and Prof.Dr. Nasser EL-Gizaway, the vice president of post-graduate studies and research participate in the national dialogue third-week sessions. The University participates in the economic sessions, as the University president talks in the committee of agriculture and the food security in which the state’s role in providing production materials and setting prices in addition to boosting agriculture and insurance is discussed publically.

The faculty of medicine organizes, in cooperation with the directorate of youth and sport in Qulubia and the Nile organization for Media services, an awareness forum about addiction and drugs. This forum is conducted under the auspices of Prof.Dr. Ashraf Sobhy, the minister of youth and sport, Colonel, Abdel Hamid EL-Hagan, Qulubia governor, Prof.Dr. Gamal Sosa, BU president, Prof.Dr. EL-Sayed Fouda, the vice president of community services and environment development and Prof.Dr. Mohamed EL-Ashab, the dean of the faculty of medicine. The forum is done in the presence of Prof.Dr. Nermin Adly, the faculty’ vice dean of community services and environment development, Prof.Dr. Ahmed EL-Habashy, the head of ophthalmology hospital, Prof.Dr. Mahmoud El-Sabroot, the deputy minister of youth and sport in Qulubia, Ms. Samah Mohamed, the media official in the Nile Media organization, Ms. Rania Motaaz, the vice president of community services and environment development.

Prof.Dr. Gamal Sosa, BU president announces that Benha University advances in the international ranking of the Universities (CWUR). The University obtains the position of 1642 globally among 20,000 Universities in this ranking, so it advances by 81 positions. It’s noteworthy that the CWUR is a UAE-based pioneering consultation organization that provides consultation services in the fields of polices making, strategic visions and the consultation services to the governments and the Universities.

The participants of the second annual conference of the post-graduate studies in the field of applied sciences, which was held by the sector of post-graduate studies and scientific research in the University, announce the conference recommendations. Prof.Dr. Nasser EL-Gizaway, the vice president of post-graduate studies announces that the university’s council, under the presidency of Prof.Dr. Gamal Sosa, has approved to update the training programs of the faculties’ members who seek to get promoted as a part of the University’s policy to hone the faculties’ members’ skills and not to repeat the training programs over and over again. This shall begin from the academic year 2023-2024 as well as the training programs that will added by the supreme council of the Universities.

As the alumni office in Benha University is keen to help the University’s alumni to be fully equipped for the marketplace, the office announces that there will be a free of charge HR training course on Sunday, 9-4-2023 at 9 pm via Microsoft team’s platform.
