Under the auspices of prof.Dr. Mohamed Ayman Ashour, the minister of higher education and scientific research, Major. General/ Abdel Hamid EL-Hagan, Qulubia governor, and prof.Dr. Nasser EL-Gizaway, BU president, the faculty of commerce organizes a scientific conference entitled “the updates of Business environment in the light of information technology and climate change” in 18^th of February. This scientific conference will be held in the presence of many faculties of commerce in Egypt, Business studies committees in the Supreme council of the universities, prof.Dr. Gihan Abdel EL-Hady, the faculty’s vice dean of educational affairs and students and the vice head of the conference, prof.Dr. Ali Mahmoud Khalil, the faculty’s vice dean of post-graduate studies and research and the conference’s registrar, and prof.Dr. Magdy Meligy, the faculty’s vice dean of community service and environment development and the conference coordinator.

The faculty of commerce holds an awareness forum entitled “your health really matters” in cooperation with the General Secretariat of mental health and addiction treatment. This forum is conducted in accordance with the University’s role to serve the community so as to raise the awareness of the students and serve the community and it was held under the auspices of prof.Dr. Nasser EL-Gizaway, the university president, prof.Dr. EL-Sayed Fouda, the vice president of community service and environment development, prof.Dr. Samy Ghonemiy, the dean of the faculty of commerce, prof.Dr. Magdy Meligy, the vice dean of the community service and environment development, Ms. Rania Motaz, the assistant secretary-general of community service and environment development. Prof.Dr. Mona Abdel El-Maksood, the secretary-general of the secretariat of the mental health and addiction treatment, prof.Dr. Shimaa Mohamed Hassan, a psychiatrist, and prof.Dr. Ahmed Kamal, a psychiatrist and an addiction treatment specialist deliver the lectures in this forum.  

The faculty of commerce organizes a forum entitled “the economic impact of wars… a comparative study of October’s war” under the auspices of prof.Dr. Nasser EL-Gizaway, BU president, prof.Dr. EL-Sayed Fouda, the vice president of community development and environment service and in the presence of prof.Dr. Sami Ghonemiy, the dean of the faculty of commerce. Prof.Dr. Magdy Meligy, the vice president of vice president of community service and environment development says that this forum is organized in cooperation with Ms. Rania Motaz, the secretary-general of community service and environment development and it is held in the presence of Mr. Mustafa Abu EL-Dahab, the faculty’s secretary-general, the faculty’s members and the students. Dr. major general/ Mohamed EL-Gobary, the former dean of the national defense faculty and Colonel/ Mohamed Tharwat, the head of the military education center in Benha University.

Faculty of Commerce at Benha University organized a choral and music party for its students under auspices of Dr. Gamal Sosa, Benha University President, Dr. Tamer Samir, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, Prof.Dr.Nasser El Gizawy, Benha University Vice-president for Post Graduate Studies and Scientific Research , Dr. Samy Ghonemy , the Faculty of Commerce dean , Dr. Mustafa El Abady , the former dean , Dr.Khalid Essawy , the general coordinator of Students activities and Mr. Mustaf Abu El Dahab , the Faculty of Commerce manager .
For his part, Dr. Samy Ghonemy stressed the Faculty's keenness to provide all support for the student's artistic, sports and cultural activities. On the other hand, the attendees and participants in the celebration praised the talents of the students and the beauty of their voices that reflexed their professionalism

Prof.Dr.Gamal Sosa, Benha Univesrity President continued his inspections tours to follow up the first semester exams at faculty of Commerce. Benha University President was accompanied by Prof.Dr. Samy Ghonemy, the Faculty of Commerce dean, Dr.Mohamed Khalil, the Faculty deputy for Postgraduate Studies and Scientific Research , Dr.Mustafa Rashid El Abady , the head of Exams Follow up Committee and Mr. Mustafa Abu El Dahab , Faculty of Commerce manager.
During his tour, Benha University President inspected exams halls and he confirmed on applying precautionary measures such as wearing masks and leaving safe distances between students. Prof.Dr.Gamal Sosa was also keen during the tour to listen to the students' opinions about the nature of exams' questions. He also commended during his tour Faculty of Commerce preparations for exams and taking all measures to work on the comfort of students to perform their exams.

Faculty of Commerce, Benha University organized an introductory seminar about English programs at Faculty of Commerce under auspices of Dr. Nasser El Gizawy, the acting president of Benha University and Prof. Tamer Samir, Benha University Vice-president for Education and Students' Affairs and in presence of Dr.Mohamed Saeed Basyouny, the acting dean of Commerce faculty, Dr.Mohamed Samy Ghonemy, the Faculty deputy for Education and Students Affairs, Dr.Mohamed Ahmed Khalil , the Faculty deputy for Community Service and Environment Affairs , Dr.Nanis Fikry , the English programs coordinator and Mr.Mustafa Abu El Dahab , the general manager of the Faculty . Prof. Dr. Nasser El Gizawy, the acting president of Benha University inspected during his tour today the second semester exams at Faculty of Commerce. During his tour, El Gizawy was accompanied by Dr. Mustafa Rashid El Abady, The Faculty of Commerce dean, Dr. Samy Ghonim, the Faculty deputy for education and students affairs, Dr.Mohamed Khalil, the Faculty deputy for Community Service and Mr. Mustafa Abu El Dahab, the Faculty of Commerce manager. Prof. Dr. Nasser El Gizawy commends the implemented precautionary measures to protect students and employees during exams process such as sterilization of committees, checking students' temperature, keeping suitable spaces among students and wearing masks. In his word, El Gizawy said that Benha University is keen on following exams process constantly and providing a safe environment and a suitable psychological atmosphere for students during exams, especially in light of the current circumstances and facing the Corona pandemic. On the other hand, Dr.Mustafa Rashid El Abady added that Faculty of Commerce exerts great efforts to implement all precautionary measures to face the Corona pandemic although, the Faculty has a huge numbers of students.

Prof. Dr. El Sayed Yusuf El Kady, the President of Benha University inspected Faculty of commerce in presence of Prof. Dr. Eid Hemaidah, Faculty of Commerce dean. The University President congratulated students on occasion of the new academic year 2016-2017 and encouraged them to do their best to achieve their goals. He also confirmed on dealing students well, encouraging their initiatives and preparing them well to be able to participate in building the modern Egypt.

Benha University delegation participated in the International Exhibition and Conference for Higher Education for the Middle East (Taleem2015) which includes Prof. Dr. Hesham Abu El Enin, the University Vice-president for Postgraduate Studies and Researches’ Affairs; Prof. Dr. Hosny Mahran, the Dean of the Faculty of Commerce; and Prof. Dr. Nasser  El Gizawy, the Director of the University E-portal have visited the Hashemite University to sign a memorandum of understanding between the two universities as a beginning for the mutual cooperation.

The Projects Management Unit “PMU” in Benha University holds a workshop in the duration from 16/06/2015 to 17/06/2015 at the Conferences Hall in the Faculty of Commerce to put its projects activities in the strategy plan, under the presidency of Prof. Dr. Abdel Rahim Shulah, the Advisor to the University President for Improvement and Qualifying for Accreditation and the CEO of the University PMU and Prof. Dr. Ibrahim El Gendy, the Manager of the Strategy Planning Unit.
