Prof.Dr. Nasser EL-Gizaway, BU president conduct, today’s evening, a tour to inspect the exams of the 1^st semester in the faculty of science. He was accompanied by prof.Dr. Nehad EL-Barkoky, the acting dean of the faculty, the faculty’s vice deans and the professors. EL-Gizaway conducts the tour to make sure that everything is up and running and the students are having the best services to answer the questions of the exam properly.

BU council honors, under the presidency of Prof.Dr. Gamal Sosa, BU president, Prof.Dr. Lofty Abu Salim, the dean of the faculty of science on the occasion of his retirement in appreciation of his exerted efforts during his tenure as a dean of the faculty in the last few years. This is done in the presence of Prof.Dr. Nasser EL-Gizaway, the vice president of post-graduate studies, Prof.Dr. Tamer Samir, the vice president of educational and students affairs and Prof.Dr. El-Sayed Fouda, the vice president of community service and environment development, Ms. Shreen Shawkay, the university secretary-general, the faculties’ deans, the council members and the assistant sectary-generals.

Prof.Dr. Gamal Sosa, BU president attends the initiative of planting the fruitful trees in the faculty of science so as to increase the green spaces inside the University campus. This is done in the presence of Prof.Dr. Lofty Abu Salim, the faculty dean and the vice deans and a number of the faculty’s members. The University president stresses that this initiative comes in accordance with the societal role of the university plays in serving the community and developing the environment.

Prof.Dr.Nasser El Gizawy, Benha University Vice-president for Post Graduate Studies and Scientific Research inspected the central laboratory at Faculty of Science, that visit was according to instruction of Dr. Gamal Sosa, Benha University president to support scientific research system .It is worth mentioning that Dr. Nasser El Gizawy was accompanied by Dr. Lotfy Abu Salim , the Faculty of Science dean , Dr. Mohamed Haikal , the Faculty deputy and Dr. Eslam Sheha , the executive manager of the central laboratory. Where the laboratory was supported with the latest scientific devices represented in the electronic microscope device equipped with an EDX unit and FTIR equipped with an ATR unit that has granted to the laboratory through the initiative of the Academy of Scientific Research and Technology to advance basic sciences to raise capabilities of Faculty of Science laboratories at Egyptian Universities. It is worth mentioning that the laboratory provides its various services from training and examining samples to graduate students and researchers in universities and research centers in Egypt.

Prof.Dr.Gamal Sosa, Benha Univesrity President continued his inspections tours to follow up the first semester exams at faculty of Science. Benha University President was accompanied by Prof.Dr. Lotfy Abu Salim, the Faculty dean and his deputies. During his tour, Benha University President inspected exams halls and he confirmed on applying precautionary measures such as wearing masks and leaving safe distances between students. Prof.Dr.Gamal Sosa was also keen during the tour to listen to the students' opinions about the nature of exams' questions. He also commended during his tour Faculty of Science preparations for exams and taking all measures to work on the comfort of students to perform their exams.

Prof. Dr. Nasser El Gizawy, the acting president of Benha University inspected during his tour today the second semester exams at Faculty of Science. During his tour, El Gizawy was accompanied by Dr. Lotfy Abu Salim, The Faculty of Science dean.
Prof. Dr. Nasser El Gizawy commends the implemented precautionary measures to protect students and employees during exams process such as sterilization of committees, checking students' temperature, keeping suitable spaces among students and wearing masks. In his word, El Gizawy said that Benha University is keen on providing a safe environment and a suitable psychological atmosphere for students during exams, especially in light of the current circumstances and facing the Corona pandemic.

Prof. Dr. El Sayed Yusuf El Kady, the President of Benha University inspected Faculty of Science in presence of Prof. Dr. Abd El Azeem Mehanna, the Faculty dean, Prof.Dr.Alaa Amin, the manager of Projects Management Unit and faculty members' staff. The University President congratulated students on occasion of the new academic year 2016-2017 and encouraged them to do their best to achieve their goals. He also confirmed on the important role of the Faculty in developing the society and raising the standard of quality through the continuous development especially in power and electricity sector.
