The university president stresses that the all organizations of the state appreciate the role of the armed forces in the different sectors in addition to its role in establishing national big projects. The Council of Community Service and Environment Development in Benha University has been held to discuss a proposal for developing the plan of community service under the presidency of Prof. Dr. Gamal Ismail, the University Vice-president for Community Service and Environment Development and in the presence of Prof. Dr. Gamal Sosa, the General Supervisor of the University Hostels and the Supervisor of the Activities of Community Service Affairs; General/ Hassan Nagy, Secretary-general of the Governorate; Dr. Mohamed Haggag, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health; and Mr. Mokhtar Shahin, the Undersecretary of the Directorate of Education in Qalyoubia.

Prof. Dr. Ali Shams El Din, the President of Benha University received a delegation from China under the presidency of Dr. Shoujo Wang, the President of Xi'an University to discuss the cooperation ways between the University and Xi'an University. The delegation was received by Prof. Dr. Gamal Ismail, the University Vice-president for Community Service and Environment Development Affairs and Prof. Dr. Soliman Mustafa, the University Vice-president for Education and Students' Affairs .

Dr. Ali Shams El Din, the President of Benha University has received a delegation from the German Academic Exchange Service DAAD, Cairo under the presidency of Dr. Roman Luckscheiter and professors from the University of Cologne, Germany in the fields of agriculture and medicine by the attendance of Dr. Gamal Ismail, the University Vice-president for Community Service and Environment Development Affairs; Dr. Soliman Mustafa, the University Vice-president for Education and Students' Affairs; and Dr. Hesham Abu El Enin, the University Vice-president for Postgraduate Studies and Researches' Affairs.

Prof. Dr. Gamal Ismail, the Vice-president of Benha University for Community Service and Environment Development Affairs said that the University has organized Medical, Agricultural and Veterinary Convoys with cooperation of Kafr Shukr Council under the auspices of Dr. Reda Farahat, the Governor of Qalyoubia and Dr. Ali Shams El Din, the President of the University.

Prof. Dr. Gamal Ismail, the Vice-president of Benha University for Community Service and Environment Development has announced for launching the events of the 9th regional week for community service and environment development which run until 29/04/2015. The week includes veterinary, medical, and agricultural convoys in addition to cultural and artistic activities.

Under the presidency of Prof. Dr. Gamal Ismail, Benha University Vice-president; the Council of Community Service and Environment Development has honored its unofficial members: Mr. Saied Naguib, the Television Director and Mr. Sabry El Gendy, the Journalist in Al Ahram for their efforts and contribution in raising the Sector of Community Service to provide excellent social services.
