Benha University was selected to carry out "Egyptian IOT league" program. The Technology Innovation and entrepreneurship center takes over the cost of the program. The Council of Community Service and Environment Development in Benha University has been held to discuss a proposal for developing the plan of community service under the presidency of Prof. Dr. Gamal Ismail, the University Vice-president for Community Service and Environment Development and in the presence of Prof. Dr. Gamal Sosa, the General Supervisor of the University Hostels and the Supervisor of the Activities of Community Service Affairs; General/ Hassan Nagy, Secretary-general of the Governorate; Dr. Mohamed Haggag, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health; and Mr. Mokhtar Shahin, the Undersecretary of the Directorate of Education in Qalyoubia.

The British Company “Quacquarelli Symonds” (QS) has announced its ranking of 2016 on Tuesday, 14/06/2016 and even though the strong competition this year between more than 300Arab Universities (public and private), Benha University has kept its rank between top 100 of the best Arab Universities according to QS ranking for the Arab region 2016.

Benha University President opens the Annual Scientific Conference of the Faculty of Agriculture
Prof. Dr. Ali Shams El Din, the President of Benha University has opened the Annual Scientific Conference of the Faculty of Agriculture in Moshtohor under the title of” Agriculture in Egypt and modern challenges” on Monday, 09/05/2016.
In this respect, the speakers of the Conference have handled the plans of agricultural development in Egypt in the light of the national project to reclaim one and half million feddans.
