The Department of Apparel Technology and Fashion aims to graduate designers equipped with the knowledge, intellectual and professional skills that qualify them for innovation and competition at the local and regional levels. Graduates will also be capable of conducting world-class scientific research that aligns with the needs of the industrial community. In addition, they will be able to provide distinguished community services through the continuous improvement of the educational and research processes in the field of clothing and fashion. All of this is achieved within a framework of scientific and ethical values upheld by the faculty members and teaching assistants of the department.

Thus, the department's graduate becomes qualified to work in the fields of (design – pattern making – production – quality – marketing – management and planning) in the clothing industry, whether for personal projects (private business) or for others (factories), in addition to opportunities in various research centers and the Ministry of Industry.
