Benha University will receive on Sunday, 13/03/2016 a delegation from 23 Egyptian universities in addition to Al Azhar University to participate in the Egyptian Cabinet Simulation Model hosted by the University from Tomorrow to Tuesday, 15/03/2016. This event will be held under the auspices of Dr. Ashraf El Shihy, the Minister of Higher Education and Dr. Ali Shams El Din, the President of the University.

Dr. Ali Shams El Din, the President of Benha University said the growth and prosperity of agricultural production in Europe happened throughout cooperatives and integration between all sectors. He also said the University seeks through the next duration to establish cooperatives like the developed countries after studying some systems in that field.

Dr. Hesham Abu El Enin, Benha University Vice-president for Postgraduate Studies and Researches’ Affairs announced the approval of Dr. Ali Shams El Din, the University President to contract with Quacquarelli Symonds World University Rankings because of its importance for the University in the world ranking.

Prof. Dr. Maher Hasab El Naby Khalil, the Advisor to Benha University President for the Scientific Research said the University hosted on Thursday, 25/02/2016 Mrs. HebaAfifi, the Coordinator of DAAD and the Manager of the Technical University of Munich Office to discuss the programs of the financed scholarships for universities.

Dr. Ali Shams El Din, the President of Benha University has participated in the events of the Medical Researches Forum between the Egyptian and the British Universities in Aswan under the auspices of Dr. Ashraf El Shihy, the Minister of Higher Education and Dr. Ashraf Hatem, the Secretary General of the Supreme Council of Universities.

In the frame of contribution in developing the higher education, Benha University hosts Dr. John Cavanaugh, the President and CEO of the Consortium of Universities of the Washington Metropolitan Area to discuss the challenges facing higher education institutes on Wednesday, 24/02/2016 at the University Celebrations Hall.

Benha University has received in the celebration of the Pathway to Higher Education Project on the occasion of its 12th anniversary since its launching. The celebration has been held at the faculty of engineering, Cairo University. It is worth mentioning that Benha University has been represented by Prof. Dr. AbdoMahdy, the Coordinator of the Project and Prof. Dr. Mohamed El Sayed, the Director of the Research Services Center.

Under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Dr. Ali Shams El Din, the President of Benha University and Prof. Dr. Gamal Ismail, the Vice-president of the University for Community Service and Environment Development Affairs; the Sector of Community Service has organized Medical Convoys to three villages in KafrShokr with cooperation of the Faculty of Medicine.
