Department Vision

Preparing a graphic designer capable of creativity and artistic innovation in the field of advertising, printing and publishing, capable of meeting the needs of the labor market and effective participation in developing the design of advertising and printing, conducting competitive scientific and technical research and providing research services and consultations to the community.

Department Mission

Preparing a distinguished designer capable of competing locally through pioneering high-tech educational, research and community activities in graphic design for production in the field of advertising, printing and publishing in order to serve scientific research and various production sectors.

Objectives of the Advertising, Printing and Publishing Department

The Advertising Department aims to:

  • Provide the student with knowledge and skills of creative thinking related to graphic and structural design in designing and printing various publications.
  • Provide the student with knowledge and skills related to designing the corporate identity of various institutions and fields of printing technology of various types.
  • Provide the student with knowledge and skills of designing advertising publications of various types in a manner consistent with the nature of advertising messages, the type and environment of the advertisement, and the management and organization of production processes.
  • Train the student on how to think scientifically, logically and sequentially in solving, analyzing and presenting problems of designing, producing and printing the advertisement and developing scientific methods appropriate for production processes.
  • Train the student to acquire computer programs in graphic design and implementing advertisements, whether fixed or moving, and all advertising publications.
