
Benha University President Meets International Students to Follow Up on Their Welfare 25/9/2025
Dr. Nasser El-Gezawy, President of Benha University, affirmed the university’s commitment to providing a suitable educational, social, and psychological environment for all international students, enabling them to serve as ambassadors of the university upon returning to their home countries, and integrating them into various student activities and events.
This came during his meeting with a number of international students across all academic levels at the university, in the presence of Dr. Jehan Abdel Hady, Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Research; Dr. Ahmed Youssef, Director of the International Students Unit; Ms. Shereen Shawky, University Secretary General; Mr. Rifaat Nan, Assistant Secretary for Administrative Affairs; Ms. Rania Moataz, Assistant Secretary for Community Service Affairs; and the coordinators responsible for international student care in the faculties.
During the meeting, the University President listened to the students’ needs, discussed their situations, encouraged them to excel academically, and assured them of his support. He emphasized that all university leadership offices are open to hearing any requests and overcoming any obstacles. International students have the same rights and duties as Egyptian students. He wished them a new academic year full of enjoyment and participation in the university’s wide range of student activities.
Dr. Jehan Abdel Hady highlighted the university’s dedication to integrating international students with their Egyptian peers and involving them in various student activities through the university’s specialized units and centers, such as the Unit for Nurturing Talented and Creative Students, the Choir Team, and Folk Arts activities, aiming to strengthen both their individual identity and the Egyptian cultural identity.
