The objectives of the Interior Design and Furniture Program is to develop a knowledgeable interior designer armed with the latest design methods, capable of creativity and adapting to contemporary developments and modern technology within an environment that respects diversity and excellence, leveraging all the sciences and foundations of interior and furniture design through:

•  Preparing qualified human staff of prominent designers in the field of interior design and furniture with the ability to innovate various designs and develop themselves through academic standards in the College of Applied Arts.
•  The ability to solve all design problems by dealing with different materials and knowledge of different trends and theories in contemporary design, as well as different styles in interior design elements and furniture.
•  The ability to manage the necessary operational processes, develop specifications and executive drawings, and implement and supervise the execution of all interior and furniture design work using a sophisticated scientific approach.
• Emphasize cultural values derived from the authenticity of heritage and the present.
• Emphasize collaborative work and teamwork in the service of society and the environment.
