The Department of Clothing and Fashion Technology aims to graduate a designer equipped with the knowledge, mental, and professional skills that qualify him to innovate and compete at the local and regional levels, with the ability to provide scientific research at a global level linked to the needs of the industrial community while providing distinguished community services through continuous improvement of the learning and research process in the field of clothing and fashion, all within the framework of scientific and ethical values that distinguish faculty members and assistant staff in the department.
Thus, the graduate of the department becomes able to work in the fields of (design - pattern - production - quality - marketing - and management and planning) of clothing, whether for himself (private project) or for others (factory), in addition to working in various research centers and the Ministry of Industry.

Department Mission
Preparing and qualifying a creative graduate and researcher in the fields of clothing technology and design, capable of dealing with the latest scientific and technological methods to meet the needs of the labor market in a way that achieves environmental development and societal progress.
Department Objectives
1- Preparing creative and qualified graduates to meet the needs of the labor market with the ability to innovate, design, and manage.
2- Updating the department's scientific research plan and research projects and directing them to serve the environment and society.
3- Developing some academic subjects and creating new courses in line with international universities to develop students' scientific and professional capabilities to meet the needs of the labor market.
4- Encouraging students to participate in community and scientific activities and attend conferences and seminars.
5- Cooperating with departments similar to the department in international colleges by inviting lecturers and exchanging students to conduct workshops.
6- Providing a permanent educational environment for innovation and productivity in fashion technology and design.
7- Developing academic curricula and creating new courses in line with the labor market to help develop students' scientific, professional, and skill capabilities.
