Benha University Board under presidency of Prof.Dr.Gamal Sosa, Benha University President has honored Dr.Hoida Sadeq , the Faculty of Nursing dean after ending her period as a dean for faculty of Nursing. The meeting was held in presence of Prof. Tamer Samir, Benha University Vice-president for Education and Students 'Affairs, Prof. Dr. Nasser El Gizawy, Benha University Vice President for Post graduate Studies and Scientific Research and Dr.Mahmoud Maghraby ,the general supervisor on Community Service and Environment Affairs, Mrs. Shereen Shawqy and other members of the board. On the other hand, Prof.Dr.Gamal Sosa has thanked Dr. Hoida Sadeq for her great efforts during her deanship which includes obtaining the academic accreditation in 2014 from the National Authority for Quality Assurance and Accreditation of Education which renewed last October2021. Benha University Board hoped for her best wishes.

Dr.Gamal Soussa, Benha University President inspected during his tours today faculty of Engineering Shoubra. Benha University President was accompanied by Dr.Ayman El Shahaby; the Faculty of engineering dean .
During his tour, Dr.Gamal Soussa confirmed that Benha University has completed all the necessary preparations of the new academic year. He also confirmed on taking all precautionary measures and wearing masks, as well as following-up sterilization and disinfection work and observing social distancing measures among students. He also met students and congratulated them of the new academic year and encourages them to do their best at their study and participate at student activities and initiatives.

Prof. Tamer Samir, Benha University Vice-president for Education and Students' Affairs inspected Benha University hostels at Shoubra to be sure from standard of submitted services for students, so he checked out the hostel' s restaurants and food stores. During their tour, they were accompanied by Dr. Sayed Abd El Wanis, the deputy of Benha University hostel and other employees. During his tour, Prof. Tamer Samir confirmed on completing all the necessary preparations of the new academic year and taking all precautionary measures.

Benha University has organized the closing ceremony for the Summer School for Space Science in its Second Edition by Cooperation with Egyptian Space Agency. The Ceremony was held under auspices of Prof.Dr.Gamal Soussa, Benha University President and Dr.Mohamed El Qosy, the Executive manager for Egyptian Space Agency. The Ceremony was held in presence of Dr.Gamal El Saeed, The previous President of Benha University and Dr.Nasser El Gizawy, Benha University Vice President for Post Graduate Studies and Scientific Research and Prof. Tamer Samir, Benha University Vice-president for Education and Students 'Affairs.
Prof.Dr.Gamal Soussa confirmed that the space science summer schools are one of the most important goals of the cooperation protocol that signed between Benha University and the Egyptian Space Agency, which aims to spread space science among Egyptian university students to graduate and prepare a qualified student for the labor market, raising the name of Egypt in all international forums. He also expressed his happiness with the success of the first and second Edition of the summer training schools which were organized by Benha University in cooperation with the Egyptian Space Agency.

Prof. Tamer Samir, Benha University Vice-president for Education and Students' Affairs said that Arbitration committee includes; Dr. Eman Abd El Haq , the Faculty of Education dean and Dr.Khalid El Essawy , the General Coordinator for students' activities .Dr. Khalid El Essawy announces that the contest finishes and winners as following ; the student Mohamed El Sayed Mustafa from Faculty of Nursing at the First place , the student Saif El Din Ragab Ahmed from Faculty of Engineering Benha at the Second place , the student Mohamed Mohamed Shawqy , from faculty of Medicine at the third place , the student Saeed Khalid from Faculty of Agriculture at the fourth place and the studentAhmed Anwar from faculty of Benha Engineering. On the other hand, the studentOmnia Hassan from Faculty of Physical Thereby has won the first place, the student Hadeer Abd El Fattah from Faculty of Nursing has won the second place, the student El Zahraa Ragab from Faculty of Computer and Artificial Intelligence has won the third place, the student Youmna Waleed from Faculty of Science has won the fourth place and the student Radwa Ibrahim from Faculty of Nursing has won the fifth place. It's worth mentioning that Benha University winners at the Ideal student on the level of the University are going to participate at the Ideal Student Contest on the level of Egyptian Universities.

Prof.Dr.Tamer Samir was accompanied by Mr.Mohamed Ibrahim, the Faculty of Specific Education dean and Dr.Mahmoud Zabalwy, the acting dean of Agriculture Faculty. During his tour, Dr. Tamer Samir met students and congratulated them of the new academic year and encourages them to do their best at their study and participate at student activities and initiatives. He also said that Benha University has received 25.000 new students this year and thus students at Benha University this year have reached to 120.000 students.
