Benha University holds a big ceremony of October war which includes the second educational forum of the university. The ceremony witnesses honoring the martyrs and the injured of Qulubia inhabitants and the armed forces sons in addition to a concert that has been held in the university by the musical band of Benha university. This ceremony is attended by the general/ Muhammad Tawfik, the directorate of security in Qulubia, the general/ Mahmoud Khalifa, the former governor of new valley governorate and the military chancellor of the Arab League, the vice presidents of the university president, the faculties’ deans, the faculties’ members and the Benha university’s students. 

The E-Learning center in Benha University invites the faculties’ members to activate the E-Curriculums. In order to activate Electronic- curriculums, the faculty’s member should follow the next steps:

1-    Choosing an  Electronic- curriculum from the attached list

2-    Sending a list of the students’ names to get them enrolled on the Electronic- curriculum.

A group of the national investment bank visit Benha university buildings in EL-Obour to inspect the faculty of medicine, the faculty of dentistry and the faculty of physiotherapy. The group expresses his happiness of the progress achieved in the buildings. The group was accompanied by   Prof.Dr. El-Sayed EL-Kady, the university president, prof.Dr. Karim Rashwan, the head of the geometrical counseling in the faculty of engineering and prof.Dr. Muhammad Saied, the geometrical chancellor of the university president. 

The proceedings of the Sino-Egyptian congress have begun in Benha University and it will last for three days. This conference discusses 115 scientific researches that are related to agriculture, veterinary sciences and engineering and there are 10 Chinese universities which take part in this conference accompanied by a Chinese delegation in addition to several faculties’ members in the Egyptian universities. 

The faculty of informatics and computer science in Benha University announces the results of the academic year and the success rate of the students is 97.9% and the success rate of computer science is 86%.

Benha University achieves a great accomplishment around the Egyptian universities as The IT portal gets 100% as an assessment from the supreme council of the universities in third quarter (January-February-March 2017). The technological and the scientific of Benha University activity wins the second place in the Robot forum for the second time in a row which takes place from 22-4-2017 to 26-4-2017 in Helwan university with the participation of ten Egyptian universities.

Benha University sadly receives the two pieces of news of the terrorist attacks on the church Mary Gerges in Tanta and the church of Mary Morkos in Alexandria which result in many causalities and the death of many Egyptians, but Terrorism will never terrify Egyptians and Egypt will never be defeated as the Egyptians will always stand firm and united against these mean incidents.

Benha university council, under the presidency of prof.Dr. EL-Sayed EL-Kady, the university president, discusses the report of prof.Dr. Yosry EL-Saied, the general manager of the university’s hospital that shows the hospitals’ performance in last June. There are 34732 patients who frequently visit the university’s hospital in last June.
