The Leadership Selection Committee at Benha University has received applicants for the leaderships' positions in presence of Prof.Dr. Nasser El Gizawy, the acting president of Benha University, Prof. Tamer Samir, Benha University Vice-president for Education and Students' Affairs, Dr. Huda Sharawy , the former deputy for Benha University and Dr. Ashraf Shams El Din , the professor at faculty of Commerce .
The Committee has held its meeting today to conduct interviews with the employees applying for the supervision positions which are as following; Director General of the President's Office, Director General of the Councils Secretariat, Director General of Medical Affairs, Director General of Postgraduate Studies and Research, General Director of Special Accounts, General manager of administrative affairs, General Director of Legal Affairs and Director General of Public Relations and Media. The Committee listened to the proposals, ideas of job applicants, the way they manage the sectors they have applied for, their vision for development, the speed of completion work, and the ability to make decisions and solve problems. El Gizawy stressed that the selection of applicants for leadership positions is carried out through the committee and in accordance with the necessary criteria to select the most qualified and appropriate among them to occupy leadership positions at the university.

Egypt's Dar al Iftaa announced that Monday, August 8, will mark the 1st day of Muharram month and beginning of the new Hijri year 1443.On this occasion Prof. Dr. Nasser El Gizawy, the acting president of Benha University sent a cable of congratulations to President Abdel Fattah El Sisi. The message has included "it gives me and Benha University family much pleasure to congratulate your Excellency on the occasion of New Hijri Year 1443 H, May God Almighty bless you and bring to our beloved Egypt all goodness, happiness and blessings".

Prof. Tamer Samir, Benha University Vice-president for Education and Students ' Affairs said that the University has completed all the preparations necessary for conducting the aptitude tests for its faculties 2021/2022 for students holding secondary school certificate, its equivalent (Arab and foreign), and the technical certificates. He added that the faculties need aptitude tests are the faculties of physical education, specific education (art and music education departments), and applied arts It is worth mentioning that the aptitude tests will be started from August 7 to 19 according to the time plan of the Supreme Council of Universities.

Prof. Dr. Nasser El Gizawy, the acting president of Benha University confirmed during his visit to Faculty of Medicine that he supports the Faculty to get the accreditation and encouraged the Faculty to apply for The National Authority for Quality Assurance of Education and Accreditation to renew the accreditation. He also congratulated Dr.Mohamed Gamal El Ashab for appointing him as the Faculty of Medicine dean and hoped for him best wishes and great success.

Prof. Dr. Nasser El Gizawy, the acting president of Benha University has issued a decision for appointing Dr.Ali Ahmed El Sagheer Soliman, the professor at Survey Engineering department as the Faculty of Engineering deputy for Postgraduate studies and Scientific Researches affairs. Benha University Board under presidency of Prof.Dr.Nasser El Gizawy, the acting President of Benha University has honored Dr.Hala Helmy Zayed for her ending her period as a dean at faculty of Computer and Artificial Intelligence. The meeting was held in presence of Prof. Tamer Samir, Benha University Vice-president for Education and Students 'Affairs, Dr. Gamal Soussa, the general supervisor on Community Service and Environment Affairs, Mrs. Shereen Shawqy and other members of the board. On the other hand, Prof.Dr.Nasser El Gizawy has thanked Dr. Hala Helmy Zayed for her great efforts during her deanship and he also congratulated Dr. Karam Abd El Ghany, the Acting dean for Faculty of Computer and Artificial Intelligence and hoped for him best wishes and success at his new position.
